Being Outside –
Lately any excuse to be outside as the days slowly become a bit cooler is amazing. The month of September started out with 90 degree days and it looks like we will wrap this week up in the low 80s/high 70s. Baby steps toward fall weather.
Ipsy Glam Bag –
I have recently fallen in love with makeup and heard about the Ipsy Glam Bag from a friend. For just $10 (that includes all shipping and handling) you get a new cute bag full of 5 fun beauty items every month. I thought this would be an awesome chance for me to tryout some new makeup without spending a ton and I LOVED my first bag. Ipsy asked me a ton of questions about my makeup/skin/hair likes and dislikes, etc. to really figure out what I wanted and what would work with my skin tone (everyone’s bag is different) and they knocked this one out of the park.
Wave Sayonara 3 –
The update to this Mizuno Running shoe looks and feels fabulous. I cannot wait to be back to running (10 more days) so I can give these bad boys the trial spin they deserve. Thanks to Mizuno for sending me these shoes to try out.
Probably the newest, and hottest, form of social media out there Periscope is a great way to connect with followers on a deeper level. Video allows people to learn a ton more about you than a single Instagram post does. Because of this, I have been jumping in head first. Check out my blog for tons of Periscope related blog posts like this one on How to Grow Your Periscope Following.
My First Headshots –
I had my first professional headshot taken to go along with my blog redesign and I could not be more thrilled with how they turned out (I got 4 pictures with my package). I have never really been naturally photogenic, think eyes always closed, and working with a pro made a huge difference.
