I hope you all enjoy these posts. I know that this blog is supposed to be all about, “One Girl’s Struggle for a Healthy Lifestyle” and that I usually focus on running, weight loss, and all that jazz. However, the truth is that I am a HUGE believer that mental health is a massive component of a healthy lifestyle too. So, once a month I love to share with you all the things that I am currently loving because these things make me happy, and help keep me mentally healthy.
Lavender PROCompression Socks –
This color may be my favorite they have come out with yet, and the more I am running the more I find I need these. They are a crucial part of my long run recovery.
Pumpkin Spice Latte –
I made myself wait until October to get one of these. Today was the first really cool day so I went for it – tall, non-fat milk, no whip… deliciousness. This may have to be a once a week treat all of October. I forgot how amazing they are.
Fall Decorations –
I found mini pumpkins and gourds for only $0.69 at Trader Joe’s and had to pick up a few. I cannot wait to get more. Fall is my favorite season and everything about it makes me happy.
Candy Corn –
Everything CANDY CORN! This Halloween Bark disappeared way too quickly.
Cooler Weather –
We are back up into the 80s by Tuesday, but this morning – Wow. Yesterday my morning run was 73 degrees, and today only 46. We skipped straight over the 70s and 60s and it felt wonderful.
I am loving that is is cooling down and I can tell it is helping make my runs better too.
