After I had a rough time in weeks 5 and 6, gaining a pound each week, I really tried to be extra diligent this past week. I set myself a goal of stopping the last two weeks of gains and at least breaking even, or even better – losing a bit. I really focused and set my mind to it. Even though I was vacationing in Virginia Beach, I still counted every single point and while I allowed myself some vacation treats I am really proud that I did not go overboard.
Since Weight Watchers was closed on my normal Monday meeting/weigh-in day for Labor Day it had officially been 10 days since my last weigh-in when I stepped on the scale tonight.
Woohoo! I drop 2.8 pounds.
With that I passed my old Weight Watchers low of 160.2 (before the two weeks of gains) and dropped into the 150s for my first time since joining Weight Watchers.
Now I have my sights set on dropping that next 0.6 pounds to hit 10 total pounds lost on Weight Watchers and just over 25 pounds total.
This also really helped me see that Weight Watchers is a process and while my body might fluctuate, and I might gain weight some weeks, I need to trust and stick with the program because it really is working for me.
I’m looking for a super cheap (or even free), fun, non-food related reward for when I hit 10 pounds lost… any ideas?
