I am officially 5 weeks into my work with a running coach and wanted to have an amazing update for you, but I have a confession – I keep getting sick. I think I have been sick more this winter than in the past few years. Every single thing my students come down with seems to be rubbing right off on me.
Because of that the last 5 weeks have been filled with a lot of sleep and plenty of relaxing.
A few sickly workouts, but not many good workouts,
and a lot of missed runs.
I am pretty sure that at this point my coach must think I am faking it, or just sick all the time.
I am sick and tired of being sick and ready to move on.
However, even though being sick has really interfered with my workouts I can still tell a few things about having a running coach so far:
– I LOVE the accountability!
– It is great to have Laura creating my plan.
– Being able to ask questions when I am not sure what to do (stay sick in bed, try to push through, etc.) is really helpful and allows me to worry less.
Basically having a coach saves me from my own silly, stubborn self and my not so great decisions.
I hope you are enjoying this Wednesday series on having a running coach.
