While I was Pinteresting a million ideas for my best buds wedding (that is what a Maid of Honor is supposed to do right?) I came across a recipe for Greek Yogurt Cookie Dough. Then, I Googled and found about 30 more blogs with the exact same recipe. Sorry to say I don’t know exactly where it came from originally, but I cannot wait to try it out.
Greek Yogurt Cookie Dough Ingredients:
– 6oz vanilla fat free Greek yogurt
– 1 Tbsp. peanut butter (I used PB&Co White Chocolate Wonderful which is like heaven in a jar!)
– 1 Tbsp. chocolate chips
Greek Yogurt Cookie Dough Directions:
-stir all three ingredients
– eat & enjoy
Does it taste exactly like cookie dough? No. Be real – instead of brown sugar and butter you’re using Greek yogurt and nut butter. Is it still delicious? HECK YES!
Plus I must admit, I have a wicked sweet tooth and occasionally it still wants me to go a bit crazy and binge on a huge, sinful, amazing desserts. If I can eat this Greek Yogurt Cookie Dough yumminess for only 300 calories instead of throwing back an 800 calorie pint of ice cream (I swear pints are single serving) or a 1,500 calorie bag of cookies I call that a win.
Plus since it has 19 grams of protein it totally counts toward my goal of staying full by eating more protein right? Really?!? Okay, it was worth a shot.
