Welcome to #GoalGetter2013
Every year many of us set goals of what we would like to accomplish. I know I personally have three sets of goals this year:
2013 Goals – Running
2013 Goals – Healthy Eating
2013 Goals – Personal
However, many times these goals fizzle out and fail because we don’t have enough accountability or support – that is where #GoalGetter2013 comes in. This Instagram photo challenge is designed to not only keep you accountable for your goals, but also to provide you with a cheering squad to help keep you motivated and on track.
So how does #GoalGetter2013 Work?
Every month you select a new goal to accomplish or continue working towards a previous goal you have already set. Throughout the month snap pictures as you work to reach your goal. You can take just one picture showing what you have done, or many throughout the month. This challenge is what you make it. I personally am going to try to take one picture for each of my nine goals every month (9 pictures total) to keep myself on track and motivated.
Then once you have taken a picture showing your baby steps, progress, completion, whatever, toward your goal make sure to upload it to Instagram or Twitter using the #goalgetter2013 hashtag. You can also upload it to the #GoalGetter2103 Facebook page.
For example as one of my goals is to run 13 races this year I may show a picture of my training, a race, a medal, my registration…. etc. For my goal to eat more veggies and less sweets I could show my grocery cart full of veggies, a meal I cooked, etc. Whatever, shows you are working towards your goals. Use your imagination, stay on track, stay motivated, stay accountable!
You are not doing this alone though, throughout the year our team of #GoalGetter2013 creators will be by your side as your own personal cheerleaders! (Side note: I cannot do the splits, but I am VERY loud!)

You are such a great cheerleader that I signed up! Now I realize I haven’t verbalized any of my huge massive goals yet. Maybe I’ll just do one progressive goal a month so I’m not overwhelmed.
