As part of my goal to embrace the happy and focus as much on being mentally healthy as I do on being physically healthy I am using the month of November as an excuse to focus on all of the amazing things in my life. Basically each day I am giving thanks for one wonderful part of my life.
My challenge: Every day in November I will think of something different that I am thankful for. It is an excuse to force myself to count my blessings.
Don’t worry I won’t write huge blogs about how thankful I am every day, because that’d be a bit much. However, at the bottom of my normal blogs I’ll pop in a quick line about what I am thankful for- just to keep me on track and so that you all can check it out in case you are interested, want to know a bit more about me, or are just bored out of your mind and have more free time than you know what to do with. November 1 – I am so thankful that my little brother found, and married, an amazing woman who he (and the rest of our family) loves so much. On top of that I am beyond happy that they had a smart, funny, silly, healthy little boy that I am excited to call my nephew. #givethanks
What are you thankful for today?
