One of my favorite new social media/blogging tools is Instagram. Instagram is a FREE, downloadable, phone app that lets even photography challenged individuals like myself produce amazing pictures. From their phone! It then not only automatically saves the picture to your phone’s photo album, but you can also set it up to automatically share your picture on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, etc. Number one, this helps me to feel like a more effective blogger because it lets me share across a ton of platforms at one time. Number two, it lets me stalk without feeling like creeper. My favorite thing about the health and fitness blogging is the community so seeing pictures all the time lets me feel like I know everyone better and like I am more involved. Score!
Seriously I just made my bestie download Instagram because I love it that much. If you don’t have it get on it now. Then look me up, my name is BackatSquare0, and stalk away! Just no posting pictures of fro-yo, that stuff gives a girl cravings!!!
However, getting to go for an hour long deep tissue, sports med. massage made my Friday better. I’ve been doing these once a month during marathon training. I decided injury didn’t mean I needed to cancel my massage. FYI – This room is pitch black, the power of Instagram.
Then I swung by Whole Foods for some grocery shopping. I like beef jerky and I LOVE chocolate, but together… sounds disgusting!
I had an amazing lunch outside Whole Foods. Chicken wrap with avocado, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onions, roasted red peppers, and jalapenos, a huge fruit salad cup, my weekly Zevia, and a miniature cappuccino cheesecake (I was weak, it was delicious!).
Then I went and had my hair done. I am a natural blonde, but like to dye it darker for fall. Someone just referred to it as my Pumpkin Spiced hair. I like that so I’m stealing it;)
You can do fun Instagram collages like the one above using the free PicStich app and add labels using the free LabelBox app.
Do you Instagram?
If so what do you like to take pictures of?
